Diagnosis

Column to 30 mm. scapus with thin cuticle, considerably thickened on tenaculi. Sphincter mesogleal, reticular in its uppermost part, alveolar in its lower part, forming a thin streak near the ectoderm; considerably shorter than that of Epiphellia annae but extending a little way into the scapus. Tentacles, up to 30, short. Actinopharynx long, with two siphonoglyphs. Six pairs of macrocnemes, two of which are directives retractors circumscribed. Six pairs of microcnemes form second cycle, with very small filaments and acontia. Third cycle represented by four pairs of microcnemes and two single (unpaired) microcnemes.
