Diagnosis

Small pedal disc (~10 mm). Column length to 65mm, scapus long, scapulus short. Scapus with thick cuticle and distinct tenaculi, to which grands of sand may be attached. Sphincter long, reticular in its pper part, alveolar in its lower. 48 tentacles (5 mm) not knobbed. Six pairs of macrocnemes, strong retractors, more or less circumscribed. Microcnemes, 18 pairs, lack retractors, but muscles well developed, elongate and branched, and recall the parietal muscles of the macrocnemes. All mesenteries provided with filament and acontium.
