Diagnosis

Superficially, some of the species within this genus resemble green Tropiduchidae but differ in the venation of the tegmina. Epiona, Rhinochloris and Anabunda share green coloration and a long narrow frons. However, Epiona differs from Rhinochloris by the single tibial spine on the hind leg and from Anabunda by the angulate rather than rounded anterior margin to the pronotum and vertex.
