Introduction

A small dark species with white borders along the dark tegmina. It has been recorded from Malanda in the wet tropics of North Queensland. Jacobi (1928) noted that the three syntypes included a second colour form which he described as an unnamed variety. Metcalf (1936) provided a name for the variety which therefore takes subspecific status following ICZN Article 45.6.4.
