Introduction

This subfamily was first introduced as a tribe by Emeljanov (1992) and raised to subfamily by Emeljanov (1995). It is represented in Australia by the Cedusini with a number of moth-like derbids in two genera and by the Breddiniolini with a single monotypic genus.

 

Diagnosis

Jugal margin of hindwings without stridulatory plate; branches of CuA of forewings not anastomosing; sensory pits on head and on wings absent (Emejlanov 1996).
