Ecological Descriptors
Marine.
Diagnosis
Body strongly polygonal. Tentacles 16-20. Nemathybomes arranged in 8 (rarely 9) rows. Colour in ethanol white, more rarely somewhat yellowish or grey. Physa distinct, but not separated by much from scapus. Scapus thin-walled. Animals live in calcareous sand in shallow water. Zooxanthellae present in endoderm of macrocnemes in proximal part. Usually 8 macrocnemes (sometimes 9).
