Introduction
Echotrida globosa differs from E. strangeoides in its smaller size, more globose shape and in having more numerous and finer spiral grooves.

Ecological Descriptors
Under litter, under logs, vine thicket.
Diagnosis
Shell small, yellow, subglobose with a domed spire, last whorl rapidly descending; protoconch with incised spiral grooves on the latter part, teleoconch sculpture of prominent, closely spaced, continuous spiral striae on upper and lower surfaces of shell; umbilicus wide and deep, V-shaped; diameter 7mm.
