Rottnest Is., WA to Port Jackson, NSW; Kermadec Is., Indo-Pacific Ocean. Depth range 0-139 m, also from Early Miocene deposits of southern France, northern Sardinia, Mediterranean, Suez Gulf and Red Sea coast of Egypt, from Pliocene and Pleistocene deposits of the eastern Indian Ocean.
