Diagnosis

Dorsal surface with regions often relatively well defined. Eyes and orbits very small. Buccal carern reaches far beyond anterior boundary of pterygostome. Anterior part of pterygostome with circular depression behind orbit. Epistome and infraorbital lobes usually well developed. Third maxilliped with merus half or more than half length of ischium measured along inner edge. Distinct space between inner edge of orbital floor and edge of buccal cavity. Chelipeds of moderate length; palm and fingers normal; dactylus often closing obliquely.
