Zoologische Jahrbücher Syst. 4: 1-93 [52] [proposed in key, nomenclatural status doubtful: Ridley, 1884 is not mentioned but descriptions agree; Lendenfeld saw Ridley's types, since he claims to have examined all keratose sponges in the BMNH; junior homonymy is therefore unlikely, and 'Coll.
