Diagnosis
Frons with black hairs medianly and silver pruinescence in lateral margins. Flagellum onionshaped. Hairs on face black. Proboscis about 0.25 x length of fore tibia. Wings narrow; without i-r cross-vein and spur on R4, cells cup and a1 broad; halter knob dark brown. Integumental colour of legs light brown, distal two-thirds of hind femora darker brown. Integumental colour of abdomen black with narrow, apical yellow bands on tergites 1-4.
