Diagnosis
Frons with black hairs medianly and silver pruinescence in lateral margins. Hairs on face black. Proboscis about 0.3 x length of fore tibia. Wings narrow; without i-r cross-vein and spur on R4; cells cup and a1 broad, convex; halter knob yellow. Integumental colour of legs dark brown-black. Integumental colour of abdomen black. Body length 4-6 mm.
