Diagnosis
Frons with black hairs medianly and silver pruinescence in lateral margins. Flagellum conical. Hairs on face black. Proboscis about 0.6 x length of fore tibia. Wings with membrane smoky-brown on basal half, hyaline on apical half; i-r cross-vein and spur on R4 present, cells cup and a1 broad; halter knob dark brown on anterior half, yellow on posterior half. Integumental colour of legs light brown. Integumental colour of abdomen black with narrow apical and lateral brown bands.
