Diagnosis
Frons with black hairs medianly and silver pruinescence in lateral margins. Flagellum conical, laterally compressed. Hairs on face black. Proboscis about 0.25 x length of fore tibia. Wings narrow; without i-r cross-vein, spur on R4 present, cells cup and a1 broad; halter knob dark brown. Integumental colour of legs dark brown-black. Integumental colour of abdomen black with narrow, apical yellow-brown bands on tergites 1-4 and 7.
