Introduction

According to the "Global Taxonoomic Databaes of Gracillariidae" (www.gracillariidae.net, accessed 10/05/2016), Eutrichocnemis Spuler, 1910 is a junior objective synonym of Dialectica Walsingham, 1897 (Nye & Fletcher 1991: 127). Invalid designation of type species: Gracillaria simploniella Fischer von Röslerstamm, 1844, was designated by Fletcher (1929: 93) and has been accepted as the type species by some authors (Nye & Fletcher 1991: 127).
