Syntype(s) ZMA numerous specimens, Indonesia (Siboga Stns 66, 144, 148, 157, 168, 177, 185, 189, 194–197, 203, 223, 230, 276). - Sergestes nipponensis Yokoya, Y. 1933. On the distribution of decapod crustaceans inhabiting the continental shelf around Japan, chiefly based upon the materials collected by S.S. Sôyô-Maru, during the years 1923–1930.
