Entomology Memoirs, Department of Agricultural Technical Services, Republic of South Africa. Pretoria 26: 1–19 studied in South Africa three populations of Dactylopius spp., namely Species P, Species J and Dactylopius indicus [=Dactylopius ceylonicus]. Studies were carried out on their life histories and their suitability for biological control of Opuntia spp.
