Syntype(s) NMV J53359 (material originally came from SAM), Palm Creek in the James Range, NT (but a note with the type material says the locality is South Australia).

Known only from southern NT and in the vicinity of Lake Carey, WA (Timms, et al., in press), but probably more widespread.
