Introduction
Cylindrovertlla hedleyi has one less palatal tooth and a much larger parietal tooth compared to C. kingi. The species may be very common in suitable habitats.

Diagnosis
Shell minute, resinous translucent amber, ovately to cylindrically pupiform, sinistral; upper whorls with crowded radial riblets grading to fine granules on body whorl; aperture with three barriers: a large parietal tooth, one palatal tooth and one columellar tooth; lip and last part of body whorl indented; height 1.8mm.
