- Cucumerunio Iredale, T. 1934. The freshwater mussels of Australia. The Australian Zoologist 8(1): 57-78 pls iii-vi [75] [nom. nov. pro Cucumaria Conrad, 1853, non Blainville, 1830 [Echinodermata]. Iredale cited the type species of Cucumerunio as Unio novaehollandiae, and he listed Unio cucumoides [the type species of Cucumaria Conrad] in the synonymy of Unio novaehollandiae Gray, 1834].
