Genus Cryptonyssus Radovsky, 1966
Introduction
Lorch et al. (2007) reported protonymphs of Cryptonyssus sp. and adults of Cryptonyssus cf. praedo as ectoparasites of the dasyurid marsupial Antechinus stuartii in New South Wales. However, following the classification of Radovsky (2010), these records probably refer to species of Trichonyssus.
