Diagnosis

Wide pedal disc with thin cuticle. Column conical, smooth, no cinclides; deep brown, sometimes greenish, blue, or yellow. Oral disc iridescent bright green, but colour variable. Margin distinct. Sphincter transversally stratified, in upper part sometimes reticular. Tentacles to 96, inner more than twice as long as outer, short, fine and smooth. Mesenteries in 4-5 cycles, last cycle only in proximal part. Embryos developing in an annular invagination around the column in its proximal half.
