Introduction
Muirhead et al (2008) removed Cotesia nonagriae (Olliff, 1893) from synonymy with C. flavipes, based on molecular and subtle morphological differences, and referred Australian specimens to C. nonagriae. Cotesia flavipes is restricted to Papua New Guinea and not presently recorded from Australia.
