Diagnosis

Head narrowed apically; with median longitudinal carina on vertex; lacking frontal rostrum. Pronotum with spines between median and lateral antebasal foveae, lateral margins carinate or ridged anterior to lateral antebasal foveae; lateral longitudinal sulci present. Elytra with 3 basal foveae, inner 2 close, discal stria short or lacking. Visible tergite 1 (IV) with short outer marginal carinae, thinner inner carinae reaching tergite apex; 2-3 (V-VI) with distinct to faint marginal carinae.
