[116] (Note #171: Cophomantella Fletcher, 1940. This is an objective replacement name for Cophomantis Meyrick, 1925, a junior homonym of Cophomantis Peters, 1870 (Amphibia). Cophomantis was placed in the 'Gelechiadae' by Fletcher (1929), and transferred to the Timyridae (Lecithoceridae) by Clarke (1955) and (as Cophomantella) by Gozmany (1957). Cophomantella was included in the Xyloryctidae by Gozmany (1973), but reassigned to the Lecithoceridae by Common (1990), who described the immature stages of C. lychnocentra Meyrick and other species of Lecithoceridae)
