Genus Coleolaelaps Berlese, 1914

Introduction
The genus Coleolaelaps is known from Australia only on the basis of an unidentified species, as reported by Seeman & Nahrung (2000). However, all known species of Coleolaelaps are associated with Melolonthine beetles in the genera Anoxia and Polyphylla, which do not occur in Australia. This record must therefore be considered as unconfirmed, and probably a misidentification.
