     Holotype QM QM-G329571 ca 1cm live body length; preserved in formalin (living on broad-leafy green algae), off Townsville, Qld, 14.05.2008 from Reef HQ Aquarium.
    Paratype(s) QM QM-G329572 1 specimen ca 4mm live body length, preserved in formalin (living on seagrass overgrown with dark red algae), (same coll. data as holotype); QM QMG329573 1 spec., ca 5mm long when stretched out (live); preserved in formalin (living on green algae), (same coll. data as holotype); SAMA SAM-H1629 2 specimens ca 5mm live body length; preserved in formalin (living on green algae), (same coll. data as holotype).

Diagnosis

Coeloplana on various green and red algal and seagrass hosts; with yellowish translucent body with numerous tiny ectodermal green specks, with whitish cells on branches of papillae and around margin, giving frosted appearance; in live animals, 20 permanent irregularly branched, primary papillae, arranged in figure-8 pattern, plus 8 ephemeral second ary papillae, 4 each in two rows, cylin drical, unbranched; with smoothly rounded statocyst palps.
