Memoirs of Museum Victoria 48(1): 13-14 [13, fig. 1] [on p. 13 also spelled nativitiatis and nativitatis, but derivation indicates nativitatis is correct and that spelling adopted by Allen & Steene (1988)].

Holotype WAM P.29016-001, near Smith Point, Christmas Island [10°26'S, 105°40'E].
