Diagnosis

Similar to C. oxyntis, but smaller, forewings more reddish, basal line forming wavy semi-circle, hind wings with faint brownish medial line forming triangular projection distally. Costa valvae (male genitalia) with several medial setae, one relatively thicker. Ductus bursae narrower than in C. oxyntis, corpus bursae with smaller spicules, anterior sphere thinly membranous and more elongated, signum much smaller and boat-shaped.
