Introduction
This species, which probably doesn't belong in Cedusa, is based on specimens from two localities in the wet tropics of North Queensland. Kirkaldy (1906) indicates that the specimen(s) from Nelson (now known as Gordonvale) were collected from grass.

Diagnosis
Vertex and pronotum sordid brownish, frons and clypeus sordid ferruginous. Scutellum polished black. Tegmina subhyaline, dark smoky, with a blue tinge. Legs pale. Abdomen more or less blackish. Vertex very short, transverse, anteriorly roundly truncate; frons with lateral margins sinuate, apically widened. Length 3 mill to apex of abdomen, 4.75–5 mill to apex of tegmina (Kirkaldy 1906).
