Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Leptospermum flavescens Sm. [MYRTACEAE] Tantoon (on flowers); Leptospermum spp. [MYRTACEAE] Tea-trees (on flowers); Leptospermum polygalifolium Salisb. [MYRTACEAE] (on flowers); Leptospermum morrisonii Joy Thomps. [MYRTACEAE] (on flowers)), volant.
Larva: wood-borer.
