Ecological Descriptors

Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Bursaria spinosa Cav. [PITTOSPORACEAE] Boxthorn (on flowers); Angophora bakeri E.C.Hall [MYRTACEAE] Narrow-Leaved Apple (on flowers); Angophora floribunda (Sm.) Sweet [MYRTACEAE] Rough-Barked Apple (on flowers); Leptospermum flavescens Sm. [MYRTACEAE] Tantoon (on flowers); Leptospermum morrisonii Joy Thomps. [MYRTACEAE] (on flowers); Leptospermum polygalifolium Salisb. [MYRTACEAE] (on flowers)), volant.

Larva: wood-borer.

Extra Ecological Information

Hawkeswood (1978) listed this species from Angophora floribunda and A. bakeri, Williams & Williams (1983) recorded this species from Leptospermum flavescens and one unidentified species of Leptospermum.
