Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Cuttsia viburnea F.Muell. [ROUSSEACEAE] Native Elderberry (on flowers); Leptospermum flavescens Sm. [MYRTACEAE] Tantoon (on flowers); Syzygium floribundum F.Muell. [MYRTACEAE] Weeping Satin Ash (on flowers); Kunzea sp. [MYRTACEAE] (on flowers); Syzygium smithii (Poir.) Nied. [MYRTACEAE] (on flowers)), volant.
Larva: wood-borer.
Extra Ecological Information
Williams & Williams (1983) recorded this species from Leptospermum flavescens, Williams (1995) added Cuttsia viburnea (Escalioniaceae), Acmena smithii and Waterhousea floribunda (Myrtaceae).
