Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Angophora hispida (Sm.) Blaxell [MYRTACEAE] Dwarf Apple (on flowers); Leptospermum trinervium (Sm.) Joy Thomps. [MYRTACEAE] Paperbark Teatree (on flowers); Leptospermum flavescens Sm. [MYRTACEAE] Tantoon (on flowers); Leptospermum sp. [MYRTACEAE] Tea-tree (on flowers); Kunzea ambigua (Sm.) Druce [MYRTACEAE] Tick Bush (on flowers); Eriostemon australasius Pers. [RUTACEAE] Waxflower (on flowers); Calytrix tetragona Labill. [MYRTACEAE] White Fringe Myrtle (on flowers); Leptospermum parvifolium Sm. [MYRTACEAE] (on flowers); Leptospermum polygalifolium Salisb. [MYRTACEAE] (on flowers)), volant.

Williams & Williams (1983) recorded this species from Angophora hispida, Leptospermum attenuatum, L. flavescens, L. parvifolium, one unidentified species of Leptospermum, Kunzea ambigua, Calytrix tetragona (Myrtaceae) and Eriostermon australiasius (Rutaceae).
