Ecological Descriptors

Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Kunzea ericoides (A.Rich.) Joy Thomps. [MYRTACEAE] Burgan (on flowers); Eucalyptus spp. [MYRTACEAE] Gum Trees (on flowers); Leptospermum flavescens Sm. [MYRTACEAE] Tantoon (on flowers); Leptospermum sp. [MYRTACEAE] Tea-tree (on flowers)), volant.

Larva: wood-borer.

Extra Ecological Information

Williams (1977) and Hawkeswood (1978) recorded this species from flowers of Leptospermum flavescens (Myrtaceae), Williams & Williams (1983) recorded this species from Leptospermum sp.
