Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Eucalyptus sp. [MYRTACEAE] Gum Tree (on flowers); Leptospermum sp. [MYRTACEAE] Tea-tree (on flowers); Tristaniopsis laurina (Sm.) Peter G.Wilson & J.T.Waterh. [MYRTACEAE] Water Gum (on flowers); Syzygium floribundum F.Muell. [MYRTACEAE] Weeping Satin Ash (on flowers); Syzygium smithii (Poir.) Nied. Larva: wood-borer.
Extra Ecological Information
Williams (1995) recorded this species from Acmena smithii, Tristaniopsis laurina and Waterhousea floribunda (Myrtaceae).
