Ecological Descriptors

Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Leptospermum flavescens Sm. [MYRTACEAE] Tantoon (on flowers); Leptospermum sp. [MYRTACEAE] Tea-tree (on flowers); Leptospermum polygalifolium Salisb. [MYRTACEAE] (on flowers); Leptospermum morrisonii Joy Thomps. [MYRTACEAE] (on flowers)), volant.

Larva: wood-borer.

Williams & Williams (1983) recorded this species from Leptospermum flavescens and Leptospermum sp.
