Ecological Descriptors

Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Angophora hispida (Sm.) Blaxell [MYRTACEAE] Dwarf Apple (on flowers); Eucalyptus sp. [MYRTACEAE] Gum Tree (on flowers); Angophora bakeri E.C.Hall [MYRTACEAE] Narrow-Leaved Apple (on flowers); Angophora floribunda (Sm.) Sweet [MYRTACEAE] Rough-Barked Apple (on flowers); Leptospermum flavescens Sm. [MYRTACEAE] Tantoon (on flowers); Leptospermum flavescens Sm. [MYRTACEAE] Tantoon (on flowers); Leptospermum sp. [MYRTACEAE] Tea-tree (on flowers); Leptospermum polygalifolium Salisb. [MYRTACEAE] (on flowers)), volant.

Larva: wood-borer.

Extra Ecological Information

Hawkeswood (1978) recorded this species from Angophora bakeri and Leptospermum flavescens, Williams & Williams (1983) added Angophora hispida, Eucalyptus luehmanniana (?), Eucalytpus sp. and two unidentified species of Leptospermum.
