Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Leptospermum flavescens Sm. [MYRTACEAE] Tantoon; Leptospermum sp. [MYRTACEAE] Tea-tree; Helichrysum sp. [ASTERACEAE]), volant.
Larva: wood-borer.
