Ecological Descriptors

Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Bursaria spinosa Cav. [PITTOSPORACEAE] Boxthorn (on flowers); Leptospermum flavescens Sm. [MYRTACEAE] Tantoon (on flowers); Helichrysum sp. [ASTERACEAE] (on flowers)), volant.

Larva: wood-borer.

Extra Ecological Information

Williams & Williams (1983) recorded this species from Leptospermum flavescens.
