Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Conospermum taxifolium C.F.Gaertn. [PROTEACEAE] Devil's Rice (on flowers); Angophora hispida (Sm.) Blaxell [MYRTACEAE] Dwarf Apple (on flowers); Angophora bakeri E.C.Hall [MYRTACEAE] Narrow-Leaved Apple (on flowers); Leptospermum flavescens Sm. [MYRTACEAE] Tantoon (on flowers); Melaleuca sp. [MYRTACEAE] Tea-tree (on flowers); Kunzea ambigua (Sm.) Druce [MYRTACEAE] Tick Bush (on flowers); Grevillea sp. [PROTEACEAE] (on flowers)), volant.

Larva: wood-borer.

Extra Ecological Information

Hawkeswood (1978) and Williams & Williams (1983) recorded this species from Angophora hispida, Leptospermum flavescens, L. phylicoides and Leptospermum sp.
