Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Eucalyptus moluccana Roxb. [MYRTACEAE] Grey Box; Corymbia polycarpa (F.Muell.) K.D.Hill & L.A.S.Johnson [MYRTACEAE] Long-Fruited Bloodwood; Eucalyptus racemosa Cav. [MYRTACEAE] Narrow-leaved Scribbly Gum; Eucalyptus acmenoides Schauer, 1843 [MYRTACEAE] White Mahogany; Eucalyptus ochrophloia F.Muell. [MYRTACEAE] Yapunyah), volant.
Larva: wood-borer.

Brooks (1948) recorded this species from flowers of Eucalyptus racemosa.
