Ecological Descriptors

Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Angophora hispida (Sm.) Blaxell [MYRTACEAE] Dwarf Apple (on flowers); Leptospermum flavescens Sm. [MYRTACEAE] Tantoon (on flowers); Calytrix sp. [MYRTACEAE]; Cassinia sp. [ASTERACEAE]; Melaleucae sp. [MYRTACEAE]), volant.

Larva: wood-borer.

Extra Ecological Information

Williams & Williams (1983) recorded this species from Angophora hispida, Hawkeswood (1991) recorded it from Leptospermum flavescens.
