Ecological Descriptors

Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Acacia melanoxylon R.Br. [FABACEAE] Blackwood (emergence of adults); Lomatia fraseri R.Br. [PROTEACEAE] Silky Lomatia; Leptospermum flavescens Sm. [MYRTACEAE] Tantoon; Leptospermum sp. [MYRTACEAE] Tea-tree; Leptospermum morrisonii Joy Thomps. [MYRTACEAE]), volant.

Larva: wood-borer (associated flora: Acacia melanoxylon R.Br. [FABACEAE] Blackwood (adults recorded as emerging from this species)).

Extra Ecological Information

Williams & Williams (1983) recorded this species from Leptospermum flavescens and Leptospermum spp.
