Introduction
Specimens identified only as Caridina indistincta sp. C1 by Page & Hughes (2007) are recognised as Caridina pagei by Christodoulou & De Grave (2023).

The species is only known with certainty from Moreton Island and the western side of North Stradbroke Island.
