Diagnosis
Pedal disc very wide, concave. Column, pale red, cylindrical, with thick mesogloea. Sphincter band-like, very thin, very broad, pinnate with close but not high folds. Tentacles simple, two in each main exocoel and each main endocoel. Outer larger than inner. Rows of tentacles in large specimens about 66. Pennons often with a by-fold inward. More mesenteries at base. Stronger mesenteries fertile, perfect, with filaments; smaller sterile without pennons and filaments.
