Introduction
Previously referred to as the ‘Wimmera form’ of C. heathi (Cox, 1873)(e.g., Braby, 2000) from western Victoria, now recognised as a separate species (see Braby & Douglas 2004).

Australian Endemic.
Ecological Descriptors
Monophagous (associated flora: Myoporum parvifolium R. Brown, 1810 [SCROPHULARIACEAE] creeping myoporum (larval food plant)), univoltine.
