Diagnosis

Carapace elongate to broader than long. Anterolateral margins indistinctly lobulated, not spiniform or clearly dentiform. Cheliped fingers, when closed, usually forming distinct gape. Male abdomen seven segmented, not reaching level of anterior edges of bases of chelipeds; telson not elongate, not twice length of segment 6; lateral margins subparallel. Male genital openings coxal. Male first gonopod relatively stout, sinuous, distal part strongly recurved.
