Family CELAENOPSIDAE Berlese, 1892
Introduction
The family Celaenopsidae is known from Australia from one described species of Brachycelaenopsis from ants in Tasmania, and a record of an unidentified species of Celaenopsis found on bark in Queensland. Other members of this small family are found under bark or in association with bark beetles in Europe and North America (Lindquist et al. 2009), but nothing is known of their biology.
