Introduction
This is one of a number of monotypic endemic genera described by Webb (1983) from eastern Australia. A specimen in ASCU from Dorrigo extended the known distribution to the New South Wales north coast.

Diagnosis
This genus can be distinguished by the strongly protuding eyes in facial aspect, the wrinkled scutellum and the open second subapical cell of the forewing. The male genitalia are remarkable in having the apical process of the style absent, the connective fused to the aedeagus and the subgenital plates fused to the pygophore (Webb 1983).
